In short
Be kind, build cool things, never put personal information into the game, and treat your codes like keys. Parents accept these terms for players under 16.
1. Who we are
Tomospire is a browser game operated by [OPERATOR NAME] (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at [email protected]. By playing Tomospire you agree to these terms.
2. Parents and children
Tomospire is designed for children aged roughly 8–15. If you are under 16, please play only with the permission of a parent or guardian — the parent accepts these terms on the child’s behalf. Parents: our Privacy Policy explains what we store, and above all what we deliberately never collect.
3. The service
Tomospire is currently free to play in the browser and is in an alpha stage. It is under active development: features may change, break or be removed, and the service may be interrupted, paused or discontinued at any time.
4. Codes instead of accounts
There are no user accounts. Worlds, saves and rooms are identified only by random codes. Anyone who has a code can use it — so treat codes like keys and share a room code only with friends. We cannot identify you, and we cannot recover a lost code.
5. Your creations
You keep ownership of what you build and write in the game. You grant us the technical permission (a licence) to store, display and transmit your creations so the game can work — including showing them to other players in your world. Do not put personal information — real names, addresses, phone numbers, school names — into builds, world names, tags or prompts.
6. Rules of play
You must not: harass or bully other players; create content that is hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise inappropriate for children; try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; attempt to obtain other players’ personal information; or use cheats and exploits.
7. Moderation
To keep children safe and the service healthy, we may inspect any world, remove or rewind content, close a world, and block access — at our discretion and without prior notice.
8. Future purchases
The alpha is free. If optional paid plans are introduced later, they will be purchasable by adults only, processed by a payment provider, and covered by their own additional terms. There will never be third-party advertising or loot boxes.
9. Our property
The game — its code, design, artwork and name — belongs to us or our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to play. You may not copy, sell or commercially exploit the service.
10. No warranty
Tomospire is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. It is alpha software: worlds and saves can be lost at any time. Please use the save-to-file feature to keep your own backups.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses or for lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and nothing affects your statutory consumer rights.
12. Changes and ending
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to play means you accept the update. We may suspend or terminate the service, or access to it, at any time.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW, e.g. England and Wales] and its courts have jurisdiction — except where the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
